Statement of Faith of International Gospel Outreach Rehoboth inc.

Members of International Gospel Outreach Rehoboth inc. believe,

• That the Bible is God’s Word, that it is inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it is therefore without error and authoritative for all areas of life;
• That there is only one God who in all eternity exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
• That Jesus Christ is God’s son, that he was born of the virgin Mary, that he lived a sinless life while on earth, that he did miracles and still does so, that he suffered a substitutionary death on Calvary’s cross for our sins, that he was physically resurrected from death, and that he went back home to his father in heaven, from where one day he will come back to earth to take Christian believers home to himself;
• That there is life after death which is to be lived either in eternal fellowship with God in heaven or in eternal separation from God with Satan at a place that the Bible calls the lake of fire;
• That men and women, through turning away from their present lifestyle and through a conscious decision for a life in fellowship with Jesus Christ experience a spiritual rebirth and that only through such an act of conversion they may gain a personal relationship with God;
• That the Holy Spirit lives in the lives of people who have made a conscious decision for Jesus Christ and that he enables them to live a life according to the will of God and his commandments;
• That all Christians, as they are enabled through their gifts, are called to invite others to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
